Hi guys! Welcome to my first blog post! I want to start off by sharing a little bit about myself and why I started this blog in the first place.

I have always been an extremely creative person, but I have never had an outlet to express myself. I hope this blog gives me a way to be 100% myself and be able to talk about topics that are important to me! Along with being able to express myself, I hope for this to be a nice comfortable spot where we can all relate and learn new things :)

It's important I share that I am a Latina woman, with a Puerto-Rican dad and a Costa-Rican mom! I couldn't be happier to say that they are the reason that I am able to do this. Without them, I wouldn't have the courage to step out of my comfort zone and follow my craziest of dreams. And of course, I can't forget about my wonderful and crazy sister, Mia! She is my best friend and the one who constantly encourages me, even when I might sound crazy. As you can see I am very family-orientated.

Some fun facts about me:

• My nicknames include "Nani" and "Mir"

• I used to play trumpet in middle school & high school

• I am the first in my family to attend college

• I LOVE to travel and so far I have been to Canada, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Italy, France, & the UK

• I love creative writing

• I love reading and can recommend some amazing books!

• I love the beach & mountains... really anything with a nice view
